Strip poker is a game of poker where the loser is required to remove
an article of clothing. It is a very interesting variation of poker
that although many people think about doing it, very few are brave
enough to try.
Strip poker is not a single game of poker. Rather “stripping” is a method of betting. Almost all poker game variations can be played here but the most popular are Texas Hold'em and 5 Card Stud. The idea is that during the showdown, whoever loses will have to take off a piece of clothing.
To avoid unecessary riot and to play strip poker fair and square, you
first need to define what counts as items of clothing and what's
off-limits. You can count a pair of shoes, or socks, as part of it. Or
even jewelries. The best way to keep this game fair is to make a rule
that underwear stays on.
Many online sites offering strip poker don't really entail playing poker. Mostly they just give a set of 5 cards, and you'll hope that they're winning hands. Then the “stripper” will have her own set of (computer-generated) 5-card hand. If your card wins, she strips. But this happens usually 1 out of 10 hands.
Like most forms of poker, strip poker has several variations. Different forms of strip poker are designed to get the clothes off at various speeds.
